Do you fancy a Halloween Weekend to remember?????
Saltmarshe Hall sits nestled in the East Riding of Yorkshire on the Saltmarshe estate which has been present since the days of William the Conqueror and the Norman conquest! The hall you see today was built in 1825 but sits on the same site as two previous halls.
Below its wonderful façade lies a network of corridors and cellars at our disposal and the North wing or the old servants quarters which lies abandoned has sat empty for over 70 years!
This jewel in the Yorkshire countryside certainly has the reputation of being mysterious and it is no surprise that local rumours of its ghostly inhabitants are rife!
Ominous dark shadows have been seen lurking in the bowels of the Hall’s tunnels and cellars, staff have witnessed disembodied voices drifting through these narrow corridors, a drifting white lady has been reported roaming the grounds of the hall towards the pond and the servants quarters produce strange feelings to its visitors, the feeling of being watched, followed and not alone often have people refusing to enter!
WASPS have the opportunity to investigate this wonderful property and bring you along too!
